Vicki Temple BVMS, CertAVP ZM, MRCVS
Vicki graduated from the Glasgow Vet School in 2001 and joined our team in July that year. She has a particular interest in exotic pets and after a lot of hard work and extra study, passed her RCVS Certificate in Zoo Medicine in 2013.
Rachael Frayne BVSc MRCVS
Rachel started working for Millcroft in April 2012. She graduated from Bristol Vet School in 2008 and has worked in both a mixed practice and for an out of hours veterinary clinic in Lancashire. Rachel has a particular interest in small animal medicine and surgery.
Ken Williamson BVMS MRCVS
Ken is a Glasgow graduate, who qualified in 1982 and spent many years working in Stranraer. He joined Millcroft in 2011 and his main focus is Large Animal.
Laura Sloan BVetMed MRCVS
Laura qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in London in July 2010. After working in Thirsk and Easingwold in North Yorkshire she moved down to Winchester, before coming back north again to Cumbria to joint Millcroft in July 2014. Laura is involved in all areas of work at the practice.
Julie Saxton MA VetMB Cert SAC MRCVS
Julie qualified from the Vet College at Cambridge in 1988. Julie holds the RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Cardiology and specialises in heart cases. She also specialises in all aspects of ultrasonography.
Matt Linnett BVM&S, MRCVS
Matt graduated from The Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh in 2013. After spells in New Zealand and in North Yorkshire he moved to Cumbria and started work at Millcroft in 2016.
Beverley Watson BVMS MRCVS
Beverley is a 2008 Glasgow graduate. She joined our team in 2008 and has a particular interest in small animals.
Tessa Steele BVMS MRCVS
After graduating from Glasgow Vet School in 2010, Tessa worked for a short spell in Ayrshire before coming to work at Millcroft. In 2012 she went of to travel and work in New Zealand for a year and in September 2013 came back to re-join the Millcroft team. Tessa is involved in all areas of work within the practice.
Emily Jones BVMS, MRCVS
Emily is a 2015 graduate of the Glasgow Veterinary School. She joined Millcroft after graduating and works on the small animal team in both Cockermouth and Workington
Jenna Lamb BVM BVS MRCVS
Jenna is a local lass and qualified from Nottingham University in 2014. After 2 years working in the North East she came back to join the Millcroft team in 2016. Jenna works on the small animal team at both the Cockermouth and Workington surgeries
Louise Donoghue DrMedVet, MRCVS
A native of Ireland, Louise graduated from the University of Budapest in 2013. She spent 2 years in mixed practice in Cumbria, followed by a year in Hexham. She has now moved back to Cumbria and is mainly involved on the small animal side of the practice.
