Cardiac and Ultrasound Referrals
Julie Saxton MA VetMB Cert SAC MRCVS has been with Millcroft Vets since 2006.
Julie obtained her RCVS Certificate of Small Animal Cardiology in 1990 and is a member of the Veterinary Cardiovascular Society. She has over 20 years of experience in small animal cardiology referrals, including congenital and acquired cardiac disease. She is happy to see cardiac referral cases and also to receive ECGs and thoracic radiographs for interpretation and case discussion and advice. Julie also has a keen interest in all aspects of Ultrasonography, so will accept referrals of this nature also.
Exotic Pet Referrals
Vicki Temple BVMS, CertAVP ZM, MRCVS has been with Millcroft Vets since 2001.
Vicki obtained her RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Zoological Medicine in 2013 and is a keen member of the British Small Animal Veterinary Association, The British Veterinary Zoological Society and the European Association of Avian Veterinarians which keep her up to date with the very latest findings and developments in the field of exotic and avian veterinary science. She has experience of treating many different species of 'exotic' pet, both medically and surgically. Vicki is very happy to receive referrals, passing the case back to the original vet for further treatment and follow-up where they are happy to do so, she is equally happy to provide advice to local practitioners on the basics of how to approach a case within their own practice. Please note Vicki only works at the Workington branch through the week.
